This week’s photo challenge “Forward” inspired me to check our archives for photos of my husband’s trip through the western states of the USA in 2007 where he took the following pictures, perfectly describing the meaning of “forward” to me ..

Walter hat sie während seiner USA-Reise durch die Weststaaten in 2007 aufgenommen …damals noch mit der Fuji Fine Pix.
Ich kann mich auch noch gut erinnern, wie wir 1998 zusammen solche endlos wirkenden Straßen entlanggefahren sind .. I vividly recall us driving on these roads in 1998 ..they seemed to be endless..
Einsamkeit pur ..und es geht immer voran .. ich liebe solche Gegenden. Loneliness ..moving forward ..I love that landscape.
Abendstimmung ..als würde man direkt in die untergehende Sonne fahren .. Evening .. driving right into the setting sun ..

Ich hatte wirklich nach dem Frühling gesucht heute mittag, aber ihn nicht gefunden. Darum einfach nur dieses Motiv - I was looking for traces of spring, but found none here ..so this is what I come up with as my daily pic
Und auch fürs Monsterchen geht’s voran – ab ins Wasser Our dog’s moving forward – into the water …
Wir sind weiterhin “vorsichtig optimistisch” bezüglich ihres Darmproblems, sie muß aber noch ein paar Tage große rosa Tabletten nehmen – was sie weniger gut findet, die schmecken nämlich nicht, und sie wendet alle möglichen Tricks an, um diese wieder loszuwerden *lach* aber bisher haben wir’s noch jedesmal geschafft. Danke Euch für Eure guten Wünsche und Daumendrücker ..und vielleicht noch ein bisschen drücken, dass es nicht wiederkommt, bin immer noch etwas skeptisch. Seufz. Blöde Verlustängste immer. Aber – jeder neue Tag ist ein Geschenk..
- Our dog Lisa was sick: she had bowel problems – with blood – and we were quite worried about it, but now we are hoping – carefully optimistic – that the medication will help. I’m always anxious if something’s wrong with her because she’s over eleven years old already – and even our vet was worried because in light of her age you could also think of a tumor in the bowel, but now we hope it was “only” an inflammation or bacterial infection.
Of course our dog does not like the big pink pills she has to eat, and she’s quite talented in putting these pills at one side of her mouth and then secretly kicking them out again with her tongue *smile* Please keep your fingers crossed that she’ll be well again soon and that there’s nothing serious behind it. I’m of course afraid to lose her, but we have to get acquainted with the thought that she’s not young anymore, and that’s what we all have to face some time – but let’s hope that we still have a long time together!
